Ask which of those three it is, because it explains the price. Cast glass takes weeks in a kiln and the failure rate is high, which is why it costs what it does. Check for the small bubbles and marks that come with hand blown work, and understand that they are evidence rather than faults.
Glass wants a stable surface and no direct heat. Wash by hand in warm water. Coloured glass in a sunny window will throw light around the room beautifully and will not fade, which makes it one of the few things on this list that likes a bright spot.
