Japanese-inspired trinket bowl, wheel-thrown with dipped glaze and transfer paper design. Part of the Artisan series, blending functionality and elegance in modern home decor.
Introducing the "Trinket Bowl - Japanese Inspired" from our Artisan series. This meticulously crafted piece seamlessly merges form and function, embodying the essence of Japanese aesthetics. Wheel-thrown, and clear glazed, the bowl features intricate Japanese transfer paper design, creating a pattern that evokes tranquility and sophistication.
Artistic objects made from clay and fired to create pottery, vases, or decorative objects.
Used to describe experimental works or those with exposed unglazed clay surfaces. Often seen as interesting rather than elegant.
A collection where the artist personally selects and holds their favorite creations, showcasing a deeply personal reflection of their journey, evolution, and the themes that resonate most with them.
Designed to be used on greenware to transfer underglaze patterns and designs to clay before a bisque.
A pottery technique where clay is shaped into forms on a rotating potter's wheel, allowing for symmetrical and rounded shapes, often used for creating bowls, vases, and other vessels.
These functional glazes provide smooth, even coatings, providing a consistent and professional finish. This technique ensures a flawless, glossy surface that enhances the beauty of the ceramics and can make the piece fully functional.
