From the ClayWeave Collection this tall vessel is wheel-formed in mid-fire white clay and clear glazed. An impressive array of treated twine forms a nest on the collar of the pot. Small clay birds sit just inside, nestled on supporting rope which has been threaded through holes. A functional statement piece.

From the ClayWeave Collection, this tall vessel explores the meeting point between ceramic form and woven structure. Wheel-formed in mid-fire white clay and finished with a soft clear glaze, the piece is crowned with an intricate nest-like arrangement of treated twine that wraps organically around the collar of the vessel. Hidden within, small hand-formed clay birds rest quietly on suspended rope threaded through the form, creating a sense of shelter, fragility and narrative. Both sculptural and functional, this statement piece brings together natural textures and refined craftsmanship in a work that invites closer inspection.
