Saltmarsh Photography Award 2028

Saltmarsh Photography Award 2028 is Saltmarsh Contemporary's open competition for 2027. Photographs made on or about the Tasmanian coast.

Selected work hangs for six weeks, is insured while it is with us, and is offered to the gallery's collector list for the length of the show. Sales are handled by the gallery on its usual terms.

Long Exposure: we are after work that has been lived with rather than assembled for a deadline. Send the piece you keep going back to.

Open to artists living in Australia, 18 and over. Work must be original, made in the last three years, and not previously shown at Saltmarsh Contemporary. Up to 3 pieces per artist.

Entry is $30 per artist. Delivered work must arrive ready to hang or stand, labelled on the reverse. Unsold work is collected within 14 days of the close. The gallery insures work on its premises and takes 40% plus GST on any sale.
