Artists choose whether their work is shown publicly, and nobody here has switched it on so far. This page fills itself in as soon as one does.
Check the dimensions against your wall before anything else, because paintings almost always read smaller in a photograph than they are in a room. Ask whether the work is framed, whether the edges are painted if it is on stretched canvas, and what the surface is. Those three answers change both how it hangs and what it costs to hang.
Central Desert painting out of Alice Springs and the surrounding communities is what most people know. Arnhem Land and the Tiwi Islands have their own traditions, working in bark, carving and weaving, and they are entirely separate from the desert painting. Darwin is where a lot of it is shown and sold, and it has a growing group of makers working outside those traditions as well.
Each piece has its own page with an enquiry form that goes straight to the maker. You agree price, payment and delivery with them. There is no commission taken out of the sale and no auction.
