Shoal

Sculptures · Guardians of the Grove

110 × 20 × 20 cm

A mobile of individually carved and painted fish strung in a descending shoal, each one catching the breeze to turn and shimmer. A lively kinetic piece for a stairwell, veranda or garden tree.

The Bearer

Sculptures · Guardians of the Grove

220 × 70 × 60 cm

A large standing figure carved from a single baulk of timber, bearded and stooped as it carries its load. The deep, expressive tool marks and warm patina give the work the gravity of a classical caryatid. A powerful figurative statement for a courtyard or foyer.

$6,200

The Flower Stag

Sculptures · Guardians of the Grove

180 × 120 × 70 cm

A life-scale stag carved and assembled in wood, its antlers reaching skyward and its back planted with a living crown of flowers. Part sculpture, part planter, it brings a note of enchantment to a lawn, entrance or event.

$4,900

The Gentle Giant

Sculptures · Guardians of the Grove

350 × 300 × 250 cm

A monumental seated giant built from hundreds of pieces of reclaimed and offcut timber, each shingle placed by hand to clothe the figure. Warm and welcoming rather than fearsome, it is a landmark piece for a park, trail or festival — a celebration of second-life wood.

$19,500

Windborne

Sculptures · Guardians of the Grove

150 × 90 × 70 cm

An abstract figure assembled and carved from weathered driftwood, its twisting limbs frozen as if leaning into a gale. The silvered, salt-worn timber keeps the memory of the sea. A dynamic garden sculpture that changes with every angle.

$3,300

Lily Relief

Sculptures · Guardians of the Grove

90 × 40 × 8 cm

A botanical relief of calla lilies and leaves, undercut so the blooms lift clear of the ground and cast real shadow. The warm, oiled timber makes the flowers glow. A refined wall piece for a hallway or dining room.
